Shaigan Iqbal, MD is a pain management specialist for North American Spine and Pain. He is a board-certified physician in anesthesiology.
After growing up in Bergen County, Dr. Iqbal studied psychobiology at Binghamton University in New York. He then received his MD from St. George’s University in Grenada.
Before joining NASPAC, Dr. Iqbal was the Chief Resident of Anesthesiology at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. There, he also completed his fellowship in interventional pain management.
Dr. Iqbal is also a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Spine Intervention Society.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Iqbal enjoys spending time with his wife and family. Before becoming a doctor, he was a martial arts instructor!
