Dr. Stephen Wade is a double board-certified physician specializing in interventional pain management. Dr. Wade is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with a sub-specialty Board Certification in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine.
Dr. Wade graduated with Honors with a medical degree from Fatima University, and then completed a general surgery Internship at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center/New York college of Medicine in Bronx, New York. He completed a Residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn New York. He also served as Chief Resident during residency. Dr. Wade then completed a two year Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the Spinal & Skeletal Pain Institute in New York.
Dr. Wade practiced Interventional Pain Management for 10 years and is involved in teaching and educating other providers. Currently, Dr. Wade is seeing and accepting new patients at North American Spine and Pain with several locations throughout New Jersey.
Dr. Wade uses the latest technology available in the treatment of chronic pain including pain of spinal and skeletal origin. He believes in utilizing both medical and interventional modalities including neuromodulation and other minimally invasive pain interventions to combat pain. He has been speaking for many years around the country and overseas, giving educational presentations.
Dr. Wade is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Pain Medicine, World Institute of Pain, North American Spine Society, North American Neuromodulation Society and the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He was previously serving as an officer and a New York state delegate for the Oneida County Medical Society before moving back to New Jersey.
